Introducing Our New Specialist: Dr Odgerel (Oda) Tumur, Cardiologist and Lipidologist
We are pleased to welcome Dr Oda Tumur to the Heart Wellness Centre Victoria. Dr Tumur is a highly skilled cardiologist with a specialised focus in lipidology, the study and management of cholesterol and other blood lipids that play a crucial role in cardiovascular health.
Her expertise strengthens our commitment to comprehensive heart care, particularly in the increasingly important area of cholesterol management. As our understanding of cardiovascular risk continues to evolve, Dr Tumur brings valuable insight into advanced testing, genetic screening, and emerging lipid-lowering therapies. These include tailored approaches for patients with inherited cholesterol disorders and those who may benefit from newer medications such as PCSK9 inhibitors, bempedoic acid, and Lp(a)-targeted therapies currently in development.
