What Tests Do We Offer?

✅ 12-Lead Electrocardiogram (ECG)

A quick and painless test that records the electrical activity of your heart at rest. It helps detect irregular heart rhythms, signs of a previous heart attack, and other cardiac concerns.
Time required: 10–15 minutes
Cost: Bulk-billed with a valid Medicare card

✅ 24-Hour Holter Monitor

A compact device worn for 24 hours to continuously record your heart’s rhythm. It's useful for identifying intermittent arrhythmias, palpitations, or unexplained episodes of dizziness or fainting. This small recorder is connected to leads which are secured on your chest and worn under your clothing. You are provided with a diary to record any symptoms you may have. In males, the technician may shave the area to permit good contact with the skin.
Setup time: 20 minutes
You wear the device for: 24 hours
Cost: Bulk-billed with a valid Medicare card

✅ Heart Bug Monitor (30-Day Event Monitor)

A longer-term monitoring option for people who experience symptoms less frequently. You wear this small, lightweight device continuously for up to 30 days and press a button to record when symptoms occur.
Ideal for: Infrequent palpitations, dizzy spells, or unexplained symptoms

You wear this device for 30 days.

✅ 24-Hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor

This device tracks your blood pressure over a full day and night while you go about your usual activities. It helps detect white coat hypertension, assess treatment effectiveness, or diagnose high blood pressure.
You wear the device for: 24 hours
Cost: Bulk-billed with a valid Medicare card

✅ Treadmill Stress ECG

This test is used to provide information about the likelihood of any blockages affecting your heart arteries. It involves walking on a treadmill with electrode leads attached that record your heart's electrical activity and for a few minutes after exercise stops.

This test takes around half an hour.

✅ Stress Echocardiogram

Similar to the treadmill ECG, you will have this test while walking on a treadmill. A safe, non-invasive test that helps assess how well your heart is working under stress. It combines a traditional ultrasound of the heart with a treadmill exercise test. The cardiologist will look for changes in your heart function that may indicate blocked arteries.
